The historic building is beautifully preserved, and the Civil War library is a great addition for history enthusiasts. Breakfast was exceptional, featuring fresh local ingredients, making it a memorable part of the stay. However, the limited parking options can be a hassle, and some common areas could use a bit more attention to cleanliness. Lastly, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, which was frustrating for planning our daily outings.

Well, this place had it all, really, I mean the building is beautiful and charming, and our room was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast? Unbelievably good. they served up a mean homemade feast that fuelled us for a day of exploration.
Admittedly, it wasn’t inexpensive, but considering the experience, it was acceptable.

would definitely stop here again
We stayed in a cozy double room with a private bathroom. It had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and coffee was available all day. Breakfast was homemade with options like pancakes and fresh fruit. Also, the library had tons of Civil War books for history buffs. Just a short walk to downtown too!

Delicious breakfasts and warm hospitality
I just returned from a two-night stay and can't express how fantastic my experience was. The breakfasts were homemade and included the tastiest pancakes and fresh fruit that fueled my days exploring the historic Gettysburg sites. The hosts provided thoughtful recommendations and made me feel right at home, adding an intimate touch that larger hotels often lack. I did notice that some areas outside could use a little refreshing, but that didn't take away from my overall enjoyment.

missingWrote a review on Jul 27spacious roomcozy atmospherehistorical locationlimited breakfast
The location sits on the edge of historical fields and a short walk from town, making exploration easy after a day of sightseeing. Spacious room with unique outdoor seating options provided a cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after busy adventures.
While the breakfast had its merits, such as tasty pastries made from scratch, options felt limited, and my particular dietary request wasn’t as catered for as I’d hoped. My room faced the street, leading to occasional noise disturbances from local events. it was more than a minor inconvenience. The price tag felt a bit steep compared to what I received. even though the stay was enjoyable, some modern touches or amenities could enhance the experience further.

Our recent stay was lovely. The period decor added charm, and Mike's personalized restaurant suggestions were spot-on. Breakfast featured freshly made omelets and exceptional coffee. For a more seamless experience, prepare for the steep staircase access.
